Here are some stuff I found that backs this up.
For one thing, the menu bar works. The menu bar not working due to wxWidgets completely borks PCem on Desktop Environments that don't support showing menu bar options in the context menu (e.g KDE Plasma 6)
Disk creation is a lot faster. Like about 3 times faster than native binaries.
It also tends to have less CPU overhead although this is marginal.
