As a User, I WANT to have news available offline, such that I can read it without internet and can be notified about new news on the dashboard via badges.

For this task you only need to do changes in the endpoint module, specifically in the sagas.

If it involves a lot of work, then may be it is not worth it.

The local news (Push Benachrichtigung) is short lived. The news disappears in 28 days. Moreover, some news, especially relating to corona are no longer valid after a few days. As I understand it, the municipalities love to publish links in these news. Links do not work offline.

My 2 cents: If it does not involve too much work, then it could be implemented. If it involves a lot of work, then it is probably not worth it. We could spend this time in trying to get our app available in F-droid. :)

Makes sense that when you are offline and click on "Nachrichten" it should not display an error but the news of the last 28 days... We have discussed it a few moments ago in Kommunen-Call and we still see the case that a lot of news without links or external-internet-need are published.

so Kommunen-team votes for implementing!
