Investigate Places to Deploy Server & Database #3

The initial load for the website is extremely slow. Is this because of heroku or something wrong with dev?

We concluded that this was a deployment issue, and since mLab is being retired anyway, we need to deploy the server & database somewhere else. I'm currently looking into options like Digital Ocean & MongoDB Cloud
