This is a feature request:

Pop-up notifications upon received mail. Mail count on task bar icon would also be nice.

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to add 'feature request' label to my issue :(

Implemented in b4c40baa84fbc9079a1cb2c823c68b4a0d93cf5c

Mail count should be handled in another Pidgin-specific plugin
