Switch setting / Timer reset logic #97

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
At main display with switches and timer, resetting of switches with EXIT button
will reset timers at the same time.

What is the expected output?
Switching and reset of timer should be independent

What version of the product are you using?
r222

Please provide any additional information below.

switches are reset with Exit-Short (or menu-LONG)
Timer is reset with Exit-LONG

Ather solutions are less convenient.
Sol2: -Move cursor to timer, press exit - resets the timer
-Move cursor to switch, press exit - resets the switch
I dont like this solution. Are there better ones?

Ok, you are right it seems there is no better solution.
But it`s hard to hit the right timing even with cold fingers ;)
It would be nice to have a little bit more duration between SHORT and LONG

perhaps we make a cold-and-slow-fingers-setup-entry.
Here we could change the key-speed

Hmm,ok.... but this is much to long for the Display.
You need to make a shortcut to CASFSE

:)

New Setup-Option 'Key Long' offers different key-timing values.
