I cannot set the hudson base URL #25

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Eclipse Preferences -> Hudson
2. Base URL in format http://my.server:8080/hudson
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the URL to be accepted. I get the error
"the declaration for the entity "HTML.Version" must end with '>'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Hudson 1.0.4, Eclipse 3.3.2, Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
I didn't find a workaround, so this seems to be a showstopper.

If you use a proxy to reach the Internet, this might help.

I had the same issue, but was able to resolve it by adding the Hudson server to
my
"No Proxy" list in Eclipse Preferences->General->Network Connections.

Duplicate of another bug. Problem was missing / at the end of the url.
