I followed the UG however the tag still remains in Person 2.

If I want to delete tags, I have to delete person and add again without tags.

The 'Original' Bug

[The team marked this bug as a duplicate of the following bug]

Edit: fail to clear tags

According to the UG, I should be able to clear tags. However, when I enter edit 2 -t, there is an error message. Even if I use the command similar to the given example: edit 1 -n Bets Crower -t, only the name gets updated, but the old tags are not cleared. Screenshot 2024-04-19 at 4.15.57 PM.png

 Issue duplicate status

Team chose to mark this issue as a duplicate of another issue (as explained in the Team's response above)

Reason for disagreement: [replace this with your explanation]

## Issue type Team chose [`type.DocumentationBug`] Originally [`type.FunctionalityBug`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** It states here: ![Image 4-25-24 at 11.05 PM.jpg](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sarjinius/pe/main/files/6e2225e4-1c8d-483c-ad04-a4386feaa914.jpg) So the command does not work as intended.
## Issue severity Team chose [`severity.VeryLow`] Originally [`severity.Medium`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** It causes the occasional inconvenience of having to delete the contact and re-add the name and possibly phone number, email and address for the purpose of just removing even one tag.
