rt2800 patched driver for bt2? #279

Hi

I am trying to get reaver to work with rt2800usb but so far it keep saying 
failed to associate.
I am using BackTrack 5 R2 and so would this

fix it? I know it said BT 5 R1 and so I am  not sure if that is right solution.

Have you tried another AP?

Try passing the -A flag, and authenticating separately using aireplay-ng? 

The link you posted seems like a pretty simple tutorial, have you tried the 
latest compat-wireless drivers?

rt2800usb associates just fine in bt5r2
also monitor mode and packet injection is working
there might be some other strange things going on but authenticates and 
associates just fine
