At present there is no electrical path for the repeater to tell svxlink that it's receiving and repeating a station, so svxlink has its own squelch settings. This appears to be leading to situations in which there are breaks and roger beeps during reception. One solution is to integrate one of the rear-panel outputs (several relevant pins via a DB-25) and a GPIO pin on the Rπ, at which point we can cease rely on separate squelch decisions.
That said, during a discussion on 2020-12-29, 9V1AN reported that the same breaks-and-beeps pattern could be heard simultaneously both via RF and EchoLink, which suggests a repeater problem, either as well or instead.
