I'd like to know if it's possible to go to an entirely graphical interface
where the running icons are on a grid or
something and dragging them off the grid closes them. Tapping the icon switches
as it does now. A graphical
approach is more in keeping with the iPhone UI I would think. Especially if it
were dressed in iPhone UI elements
like steffenmoss suggested.

@steffenmoss, Invid72:
Sure, it's possible.
I don't intend to do it, but it's possible :)
Others are welcome - and encouraged - to make alternative task switchers with
all
sorts of varying interfaces and features.

For the sake of clarification, does that mean that you are not planning to
extend Kirikae in that way specifically,
or is Kirikae feature complete?
If it's the latter, I may try my hand at it, but I haven't done any coding in
almost 20 years :)

@Invid72:
The former. I still plan to work on Kirikae (when I have time), but I don't
intend to
change the basic functionality/GUI. I might add some color, and possibly a 'grid
layout', but I don't intend to radically alter its appearance.

Understood, and thanks for your time and efforts on your various projects.
(SBCategories is worth every penny
for those of you that haven't picked it up yet!)
I imagine it doesn't make a whole lot of sense producing an elaborate
application from one perspective. I
suspect Apple will feel pressure to add some sort of rudimentary (at least)
task switching interface to stay
ahead of the competition. Android is getting good and they'll soon have
hardware worth buying. If Apple does
do something like that they have a tendency to suck all the air out of the room.
That said, I'm gonna have a look at your code and see if I can learn something.
Cheers.
