invocationMethod not used? #4

There seems to be support for "HOME_SHORT_PRESS" as an invocation method in
the source.

Why is this not available? Does this not actually work? I don't have a
build environment up for the iPhone yet to test it out myself.

Kirikae was originally part of Backgrounder. The version of Backgrounder for
iPhone
OS 2.x included the task-list, and had the option to use either double-tap or
short-press. Parts of the old (non-working) code still remain.

I plan to eventually reimplement HOME_SHORT_PRESS, but first I need to update
Backgrounder (as it also uses this method of invocation), and determine what to
do
about Voice Control on the 3GS.

Thanks for the reply. I basically just would love it to override the normal
return-to-springboard single home press function, that would be much nicer than
having to double-click. Obviously backgrounder could still function with long
home
press, it would just be a matter of only triggering kirikae on short home
press. If
I knew how to set up a build environment for this I'd hack on it some myself and
submit some patches.

i hope too you can reinsert it in backgrounder...because now i have to use
double
click (where i want the ipod controls!)... qith ling hold home button i can use
it
for backgrounder + kirikae and use the double click for ipod... i think this is
the
most requested feature i think
