iPhone/iPod Touch model: 3GS
Firmware Version: 3.1.2
Brief description of the problem:

If Springboard is active app, if you click Springboard task, the task line
becomes dark but it doesn't take you to Springboard. User may then hit "x"
to see if that fixes it, but that resprings and may lose saved work :)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. be in springboard
2. call up Kirikae
3. click Springboard

Okay, here's a way it happens reliably:
1 you want to close an app so you launch kirikae (by hitting the button because
kirikae's so useful you
assigned the iphone's only button to It!)
2 you click the X to close it
3 now you want to launch something else so you click "springboard"
4 nothing happens

So to get to springboard you have to hit the button again to make kirikae
disappear (because when u
closed the app, springboard became the active app!)

Hope this helps understand why this behavior will be confusing to users!

PS: Note that using the sprinboard "tab" is a bit different from the actual
springboard; for ex, touch-and-
hold on an app launches the app (when user expects to go into delete/rearrange
mode)

PPS: I really really want ability to have springboard or springboard tab always
default to first page of
springboard ;)

Confirmed. Note this only happens when animations are disabled. The reason is
known,
but I will have to think about how best to handle this.

As mentioned in the release notes for svn.r152, icon editing is purposely not
supported. When icons are dragged, the icon images exist on another layer...
which
causes them to completely disappear in Kirikae's SpringBoard tab. I fear that
attempting to fix this would cause other more major issues.

As for "always showing the first page", that is on the todo list.
