Image recordings can be paused and reinitiated to append whenever the user wants to. However, the user should be visually notified about the image recording length.
E.g. in the status bar the label could display this text when a recording started 6minutes and 18 seconds ago, and it paused now:
"Paused after 06:18. Whole recording length: 06:18"
and when restarted to append, and then paused again:
"Paused after 02:10. Whole recording length: 08:28"
