Without this, categories, specified as parameters on the URL will get either +'s or %20's in their names and will never match the category filter. As a result, no posts are shown.

Sorry for the super late reply and thanks for mentioning the issue. You're right with that. Didn't think of multi-word categories back in the day. Meanwhile I fixed it, kinda differently. It should work properly now.
