Quitting does not shutdown process #368

Steps to reproduce

Open Turpial, log into Twitter and receive news. Then close the application (via Ctrl-Q or Alt-F4).

Expected behaviour

The process is shut down properly.

Actual behaviour

I receive notifications about updates, hence Turpial is still running.

I omitted the error from issue #366. I installed it via yaourt.
