What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. clicking on te shimeji application

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to launch the shimeji
instead i see a screen saying: 'error:could not create the java virtual machine 
error: a fatal exeption has occoured. program will exit

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
i am using the reccomended file
windows XP

iv figured out how to fix it. right click on the shimeji application and click 
"troubleshoot compatibility". then click recommended setting, then run ,then 
next, then save changes to program.
