For anyone who wants twitter support, I suppose we should use http://twitter.rubyforge.org/

Is that okay as a dependency?

The dependency would be fine with me.

I was sad to hear about IFTTT having to remove Twitter triggers because of Twitter's shitty new terms.

Definitely agree, they're the only reason I use that service (aside from weather reports :))
