Ubuntu 122.04 legacy 5.08 not working on update #25

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Did the update thru Ubuntu
2.Appeared to update
3.Did not run

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I realize I don't really need a virus checker but it is nice to see what has
come down. Instead of working it just hangs. When I went to the bash and ran it
I get:

Can't locate object method "new" via package "Gtk2::InfoBar" (perhaps you
forgot to load "Gtk2::InfoBar"?) at /usr/share/perl5/ClamTk/GUI.pm line 100.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Ubuntu 12.04 ran fine as ver 5.07 but got the error after updating to 5.08.

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi,

Are you sure you grabbed the legacy version? That error message indicates you
(likely) grabbed the "mainstream" version.

Install this:
https://bitbucket.org/dave_theunsub/clamtk-legacy/downloads/clamtk_5.08-1.legacy
_all.deb

Let me know if that works.

Thanks,
Dave M

Uninstalled, removed and reinstalled. Same error.

Well I'm a bonehead... for some reason I think I released the mainstream
version as a renamed legacy version...

Anyway, it's an easy fix, so there'll be a quick 5.08-2 version coming soon.

Thanks for reporting it!

Thanks,
Dave M

No problem. I'm not a newbie so when I had the problem I suspected that was
it and thought I better let you know to help others. Thanks for all your
hard work.
