Errors loading Seurat v5 after total crash of RStudio #7894

Dear all,

I started to install the biomart package and had to update some packages. During the automatic backup, RStudio crashed and afterwards everything was gone in RStudio (even scripts, which usually stay after closing RStudio). Afterwards it was not possible to load the seurat (v 4.4.0) package anymore. In the error I found the note tht starting from october 2023 the new Seurat version should be used. However, the installation ist not working. I get various errror similar to this

I am working with Windows 10 Education, R 4.2.0 and RStudio 2022.02.2+485 "Prairie Trillium" Release (8acbd38b0d4ca3c86c570cf4112a8180c48cc6fb, 2022-04-19) for Windows.

Any ideas to get my data back and my codes running? Thanks in advance!

Hi Nina, are you still experiencing this issue or have you been able to successfully install the latest version of Seurat? I will close this issue now, but please feel free to open a new issue if you are still experiencing problems.
