I was at least the 2nd person to try to use this in experimental mode. This (or something like it) may be useful. Feel free to reject, but i was scratching my head for a couple of hours on this before i found someone else who had the same issue.

Since SML3 is so close to release, I don't think we will be releasing another SMM update until SML3 - it would just confuse people into thinking mods were ready.

The next version of SMM has a 'banner message' functionality that does not require the program to be updated to change the displayed message. It should help prevent confusing situations like this in the future.
