I moved from component to browserify as components node API was awfully inconsistent and complicated. Also you were forced to apply a lot of workarounds. Now they are rewriting component and they seem to put a lot sugar into it.
When they are finished I would like to move to them as component it self is:
better decoupled from node (I disagree "nodifiying" the browser)
allows setting up components with css and native template support
allows decoupling npm from the front end
API enhancements
However I think it will take some months until there rewrote component is actual ready AND usable.
