Would like to chime in and possibly suggest changing the backpack equipping behaviour to how Traveller's Backpacks or Bean's Backpacks do it, in the sense of having it on the back trinket slot.
The reasons:
Equipping it in the cape slot allows for the player to have multiple backpacks on if other backpack mods are present, which is something server owners might want to restrict.
Multiple backpacks being equipped cause overlapping models and breaks the immersion (same argument could be done with cape+backpack but we could make it so equipping the backpack hides the cape from view.)
Leaving the backpack in the cape slot essentially renders the back slot useless and forces the player to manually remove their cape if cape mods are present, limiting customization.
Would also like to point out that Backpacks might need more config or an overall nerf as it's currently possible to deposit full backpacks into Vinery Baskets, the suitcase (can't remember the exact name, sorry) from Furniture, and ender chests which would connect to ender backpacks and possibly create an inventory loop, which isn't an issue per se, but all of these variables would need to be double checked separately to make sure items within the backpack don't get wiped upon deposit in any of the aformentioned containers and similar. I've briefly tested the mod and had this happen a few times but couldn't exactly pinpoint the cause - on top of that I had limited time on my hands and couldn't really fill up the issue form or do other tests to see if this happened on a lone instance, but the reality of the matter is that people will inevitably use this in tandem with other mods, so there should be a fail-safe approach.
These are my two cents - I love the idea of having everything from the Let's Do Mods in one pack and the inclusion of Backpacks is an amazing touch to keep everything cohesive, but I hope these potential issues can be looked over.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
There isn't a complete implementation for Curios yet.
The Forge port is only occasionally available, as mentioned in the description - Camping remains primarily a Fabric mod. However, plans are in place to implement these features in the future.

This is by far the best backpack mod for modern minecraft without any bloat. I adore your mods and I think when you'll add proper curious support, this will be the "go to" mod for backpacks in modern minecraft. Thank you for your response. We will wait patiently

Issue Description
Like the title says, the backpack becomes invisible when equiped to the curios slot. Its still functional and i can open it with H. I just wish I could see on my player model (same as if it was equiped on the chest slot). Pardon If this is intended behavior. I just wish there was a config so we could choose if we want to be vissible or not. I adore your mods, thank you!
Steps to Reproduce
Equipt backpack to curios "cape" slot.
