As a workaround /noclip
can be used to disable hit testing to allow moving through the blocks if you get stuck, but teleporting to the sandbox is a good idea, just opened this before I saw your suggestion: https://github.com/satoshinm/WebSandboxMC/issues/63 Teleport web clients who exit the sandbox back to within it?
I think this may be https://github.com/satoshinm/WebSandboxMC/issues/50 Slow connections start player inside of blocks, too low?
If you move/fall into unloaded Craft chunks you will seem to "fuse" with a block once you stop moving, and be unable to move again. Additionally, the chunk never loads.
Maybe a automatic teleport to sandbox if they start traveling too far into the Craft world, or get stuck in what would be solid blocks?
