crashes when set by default through settings #497

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install the app from f-droid
2. Launch the app
3. Accept when the app asks for default TTS engine

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normally, the default app must be set without crashing, but it crashes instead

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I use the f-droid version (1.46.02_r7) on Android 5.1.1 Sony xperia M2 edition

Please provide any additional information below.
I disabled the Google apps on my phone.
