Double arrows cause problems for CHECK, so we use the unicode symbol '▁':
(U+2581 : LOWER ONE EIGHTH BLOCK)
As a delimited, but convert it to a CA-like '↓↓' delimiter.
So
hello how are ▁you▁
becomes
hello how are ↓↓you↓↓
