I think at the most basic level, being able to get species/count totals per camera or other basic stats, without pulling data into another program, would be nice.
Camelot has data outputs that are prepared to go directly into frequently used analysis programs. It can take me a week to properly re-format data for an occupancy analysis in R. If the fields are pretty standard in the database, the code that I use for that reformat, would essentially work for anyone and could save a lot of work.
I’m actually really curious how the underlying databases in Camelot look… but another issue with that program is that I can’t really see under the hood.
