We have another 1 month to go and we need to sensitize as many people as possible to the implications of such a law. Possible strategy:

The message is simple, clear and strong
Is neutral and objective in its point of view
Is endorsed by reputed organizations

Does anyone have an idea of the current engagement on the site, is this something we should track? How do we improve?

I think @karthikb351 added Google Analytics. No idea where it goes though. @karthikb351 can you:

share GA creds or add us into the profile?

@geohacker @karthikb351 I changed the GA, added under existing DM account to keep it simple. I have shared it with all of you.

@planemad, an album of 5-10 images explaining the restrictions on bill in simple terms (use cases in hackpad have a good collection) and linking to call to action (am assuming we would be having mail comments to MP / mha soon), posting it on Facebook.

Please note the change in the path of the repo. Now its under its own org.
Also can we create a gmail for it? So I can transfer the ownership of GA.

@adityadipankar Feedback on the copy:

For the general public geospatial informationand spatial data are technical terms that do not have an immediate meaning. Could this be worded in a way that relates to our daily lives? How can we get a primary school teacher to care?
Step 1 of reading the draft bill is a big ask and there might be a risk of losing interest in the read if you care by now approach. Also the draft is technical and maybe one may lose interest at that point ?
