Ability to start Siphon from command line (for restarting after crash etc.) #419

Maybe this is already possible somehow? I'd like to start Siphon from the
command line, so that I can write a launchd script that monitors the app and
restarts it after any crash.

'launch' from Erica's Utilities does not work on iOS 3 and higher.

This would be great. I would like to see is Siphon broken into two parts. One
part that runs all the time in the background to communicate with the SIP
server and the user interface.

It takes a lot of work to remember to keep Siphon running. I miss a lot of
calls beacuse I forget or the app stops running.

Siphon will support multitask in few days. And logically iOS should restart
application if they needed to stop it.
Moreover I'm not sure command line tool will resolve your issue (comment #1)
