Package for F-Droid #135

Hi! For users of degoogled devices, it would be very helpful to have access to UhuruPhotos from an alternative app store such as F-Droid. Is this something that could be considered?

This would be awesome, but it would need a build flavor without firebase and gms services.

Could you please in the meantime tag your releases and attach a signed release APK to it, so that people without Play Store can still download, use and update your app easily, thanks.

I created the entry in Fdroid but got rejected cause of the embedded libraries (google and mapbox). I did the work to separate the code enough to be able to create separate builds without those dependencies embedded but haven't done that bit of work yet. It's in my radar.

For now, you can get updates from the releases page in Github if you don't want to use Google Play
