Error report when using gprof2dot to analyze profiling result generated by
oprofile.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

 -- Centos 5.6 64bit

Please provide any additional information below.

-- I used oprofile to generate the result and tried to get call graph with gprof2dot.py. It prompts error message: opreport error: parse_filename() invalid file name: /var/lib/oprofile/samples/current/{root}/var/lib/oprofile.... ( for more error message pls refer to attachment)

This is an opreport issue, not gprof2dot.

I never seen this issue before, so I'm afraid I can't help you. If you google
for the error message you'll see that other people hit it though. For example
https://access.redhat.com/site/solutions/37188 . Maybe you can find a
workaround somewhere.

Yes, I googled and see that this is an open issue of oprofile. Hope
the latest version of oprofile has fixed the bug.

Sincerely,
Zhi
