The process of converting manual test cases into test script with the help of some automation tools is known as automation. Selenium is test automation tool for web application and mobile application having four parts (selenium IDE,Selenium RC, Webdriver and selenium Grid). Selenium RC is also known as Selenium 1. WebDriver and selenium RC marge into a single framework makes Selenium 2. Selenium is a open source and supports multiple languages as well as multiple browsers. Run in Windows, Linux, Mac. Appium is an automation tool mostly use devolop native apps.
