We need to use bootstrap and jquery to make the UI similar as following url:

Please find the action items:

[x] The page will have a carousel (http://getbootstrap.com/javascript/#carousel) in banner section (at the top of the page)
1. Use Pager(with aligned link) for statistics link.(http://getbootstrap.com/components/#pagination)
2. Place it over the carousel (Same as the template has the top navbar.)
3. Place the carousel-indicators at center.
4. Do not use images as the carousel background...Use it in left or right half of the slide...
[x] Landing page show all the menu items as thumbnail same as the example link
1. Make the thumbnail center aligned same as the template(like circles below the carousel)..Your thumbnail would be square..
2. Give some highlight on mouse hover event same as the example page
[x] By clicking on the thumbnail,user can access the detailed content in expanded section similar as the example
1. Give different background to the expand section to separate it from the thumbnail section same as example page.
[x] Design the statistics section(hidden at the top of carousel) same as the example page...

I Have modified the requirement in the first comment...Please modify the content accordingly

I have done my work as the requirements...please check it...I'm not able to move 'carousel-indicator' to the center,and in the "Highest Scorer" section,there is a problem...working for fixing those. @shantu da @sayan801 da... link: www.tathagata.cf/worldcup2.html

added the new code to the git-hub...with hover effect...but it don't works on the FTP. @shantu @sayan801 @souman-paul

@tatha-technicise , wrap "thumbnail section" and "expanded section after thumbnail click(alert section)" with in container...It will fix the alignment issue..

@souman-paul / @tatha-technicise , design the carousel content similar as following image..where the circle consists the pic of players.. carousel_content
