Hi,
I have Suffusion 4.4.9, php5.1, WP5.1.6
All the versions above are old and some are obsolete and not supported anymore.
Please check the following documentation to help you update Suffusion theme.
https://mbrsolution.com/themes/how-to-install-or-upgrade-suffusion-theme.php
Remember to create a full backup of your site before you go ahead and update all the above mentioned.
Let me know how you go.
Thank you
Get the current version 4.5.7 from here on Github it works fine with php7.x

Not being an expert on php I don't know if these errors are fatal. What do you suggest? Have anyone run Suffusion with php7? Here is the error report (it includes errors in some plugins too, so disregard them): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U0yi_JonFUaGGd9MzP8MjaZKdieUhDqh/view?usp=sharing

Thank you, Colin and mbrsolution, To be sure I will not get catch22, if I first upgrade suffusion, will 4.5.7 work under my current php5.2 and wp5.1.8? Also, if I am not changing installation location and server, do I still need to export/import suffusion-options.php? Thanks Lazar
Hi Lazar,
To be sure I will not get catch22, if I first upgrade suffusion, will 4.5.7 work under my current php5.2 and wp5.1.8?
I think it will but remember those PHP versions are old. No matter what happens you will have a full site backup ready just in case something goes wrong, correct :)
Also, if I am not changing installation location and server, do I still need to export/import suffusion-options.php?
That is entirely up to you whether you want to import the settings or not. I added that option in my instructions as a precaution. Anyway if something goes wrong you can recover your site from the full backup I mentioned above.
Let me know if the above helps you.
Thank you

Hi, thank you for help. I've updated to 4.5.7, it does work with my php5.6, which is the highest version I can get with my GoDaddy plan- they now told me my hosting plan is a legacy one. To get php7 I need to upgrade the plan and move all files into a different location, which stinks because they said it may cause 24-48hr downtime. It will probably be better for me to move to a different host.
I am happy to know that you managed to update Suffusion to version 4.5.7 :)
I would definitely change hosting company.
If your issue is resolved, can you close this support thread.
Thank you
