dry mask #52

Hi all,

what is the recommended file for the mask? I saw some papers use annual precipitation>70mm and 180mm to avoid dry areas but I am not sure which one to use. Can you please give some information and examples, please?

I don’t have a general recommendation for that, sorry. When working at the global scale we usually mask the desert and arctic areas.

Thanks @sbegueria Would it be possible to share one examaple file with 0 (desert and arctic ) and 1. If not no warries I can devlope one and you can close this.
