This was discovered when we came across a Chinese Fishing Vessel with AIS fishing-net-buoys:
SignalK/Data-browser did show info on the net-buoys, but the plugin did not convert it so they where not shown on OpenCPN.

A separate system using a Ikommunicate device did show the net-buoys. Also a B&G ZEUS8 plotter connected to N2K showed these targets
My AIS is a SITEX MDA-5 which does put out the PGN 129040 for these AIS targets. I looked thru the code and it seems PGN 120940 is ignored by the plugin. Maybe the description "extended AIS message" is misleading. To my knowledge there was no other PGN issued for these targets.
