What are your main contributions with respect to the original MIT code? #96

I'm currently using this slightly edited version of the original MIT code.

I see you have done a lot of work and also improved many parts of the code base.

With respect to the original code, could you please tell me what are the main bugs you have encountered and the main enhancements you have implemented? Also links to previous issues or PRs is totally fine. Thank you!

The primary purpose of this repository is to create a hardware interface to connect to ros_control.
