In the second notation for state variables, the text inside the glyph is: state@site (e.g. P@122, cf attached screenshot)
Visually, the result can be obtained by using only one label (e.g. \"P@122\"), just like for the first notation (e.g. \"P\")
However, it might be useful for tools interested in the semantic of the map to have access to each value separately? (e.g. as two different variables, state and site)
