Clicking a link using the left mouse button while having Ctrl pressed opens it in a background tab by default. The same when using the middle mouse button. This extension opens these tabs in the foreground instead. Tabs are only opened in the background when having Shift pressed while clicking.

In the lights of chrome's deprecating/phasing out manifest V2 extensions, am wondering what is the authors(s) future plan/path. Are there any drawbacks migrating? AFAIK only minor changes are needed in "manifest.json" file to migrate the extension to manifest V3.

It's just a lack of time that prevents me from migrating my extensions. Will have a look when I get the chance.
