Usage of BIGG identifiers is reported as error #3

My SBML has BIGG identifiers (http://bigg.ucsd.edu/). However, SBML validator reports the ones starting with numbers as errors. I cannot change them as they are needed for several tools, but it is also important that the model is not reported with errors when it will be submitted for publication. How can I solve this problem?

BiGG normally prefixes identifiers with single letters followed by an underscore to avoid this problem. For instance, if your BiGG identifier is 23DPG_e, you should use the identifier M_23dpg_e instead. This is also what you will find in BiGG models that you can download from http://bigg.ucsd.edu.
