This package specification satisfies a large user group and has already been implemented (I am personally aware of at least two implementations), models are already distributed using this format through important databases, suchas BiGG. It is therefore important to accept this package now as a standard in order to make it official.

As mentioned in our emails to the FBC list and SBML editors, we have enough implementations for FBC version 2, more now is of course better. All that is now required is ratification of the version 2 specification itself. The FBC package was officially accepted as an SBML extension in 2013.

And with that we have a, practically, unanimous decision to declare the FBC V2 specification accepted. Thank you all very much for your time.
