This is not really an issue. Instead it is an open question that I hope it to be insteresting to anybody who want to develop an IoT client in outdoor where no Wifi is available.
As far as I understand from the book, it is a mandatory requirement for any IoT client to use TLS1.2 encription scheme to be compatible with AWS Cloud if a two-way, MQTT protocol shall be employed. Is that true?
There is a TLS1.2-compatible 4G modem from SIMCOM:

I have attached its MQTT manual in this post. It clearly states TLS is available in there.
