Small test: More heat pump energy is consumed for a 1 month (no disturbance), net negative case with higher zone flexibilty than low flexibility:

• Numbers in legend indicate +/- T (deg C) with respect to nominal temperature setpoint

Sink-Dominated (2kW PV only)

• 5.6% energy savings with heat pump (30 days)
• Negligible differences in battery state of charge
• Lower average TSet for zone, but within thermal comfort

Net negative (15kW each wind and PV):

• Battery SOCs are higher on average, but no visual difference between normal and biomimetic present.

• Control signal yOut from electrical system less than 0 still on average (due to intermittent nature of wind/pv)

• Even though source dominated, the control action didn't reflect this "abundance".
