Issue #2 is not resolved or IPTorrents has changed their system again.

Can you describe how you're trying to download and specifically which kind of link on the page you're using? Clicking the little gray download button works just fine for me.

I have four ways to download a torrent from IPTorrents.com.

(1) I can left-click on the download arrow on the search results page (see http://i.imgur.com/oS13zud.png); (2) I can right-click on the download arrow on the search results page and then select "send to Deluge" from the context menu; (3) I can open the details page for the film that I want and then left-click on the download link (see http://i.imgur.com/aRIDMFg.png); or (4) I can open the details page for the film that I want and then right-click on the download link and select "send to Deluge" from the context menu.

ALL of these methods result in an "are you sure that this is torrent file?" message.

They may've updated their layout. I will investigate as soon as possible. Thank you much for detailed report.

I can't reproduce any of the above issues. In fact, I just reviewed my source. The above error generically happens basically on any kind of error response back from your server. What version of Deluge are you running?

I'm working on releasing a minor version that will provide more information about the specific error instead of just responding with a blanket message. I'd suggest checking the logs of your deluge server, in the meantime.

I'll do again with more detail and report back. On May 15, 2013 6:32 PM, "Steve Bussetti" notifications@github.com wrote:

Don't go crazy -- I'll let you know once I have an updated version with more logging available.

sbussetti commented 11 years ago

Alright -- check Chrome when you get a chance. I just pushed a small update. It will log the current state and response from the server to the console on the background page of the extension now if there is an error. Still probably worth checking the logs of your deluge server daemon and webui though.

edit: the version (v0.65.8) now also asks Deluge to pre-check the torrent file before adding. This should hopefully help you better identify the issue.

sbussetti commented 11 years ago

Closing this issue due to inactivity -- i cannot reproduce any issues with iptorrents myself since the above version. Please re-open if you find there is still an issue.

I think they might have changed something again. I can't get it to work on 0.6.66

ender84 commented 8 years ago

I'll add to this since I am trying to get this to work with IPTorrents. I get an error when trying to use the Right-Click option. Error: 'module' object has no attribute '_parse'

Here is a screenshot. capture

Thanks. I'm working on a new major version that rewrites most of the extension to support folks' requests for labels and a few other things. I'll be sure to test this thoroughly.
