Adding a new log requires typing out the name of the exercise which may be time-consuming and mistake-prone if the exercise name is long.

Steps to reproduce: 1) Add a new exercise with a significantly long name addex e/Alternating russian twists for 20 seconds c/100 2) Log multiple logs of that exercise add e/Alternating russian twists for 20 seconds r/1 c/My fingers hurt more than my abs when I typed out this long exercise name

Perhaps an alternative feature that you can provide for the users is to allow them to refer to the exercise by its index number in the exercise list, so that the user does not have to type in the whole name of the exercise every time they want to log that exercise.

Team's Response

This is intended. Different people have different preferences when typing the exercise.

Also, index may change, which may confuse users/need them to constantly reference the index

Reason for disagreement: I concede that different users may have different preferences when typing out the exercise.

However, even though the index of the exercises may change, it would still be beneficial for users if there was an additional feature that enabled them to refer to their exercises by index.

If users could have the choice of either referencing their exercises by name or by index, then users who prefer to refer to their exercises by index due to long name length would be able to do so, and users who prefer to refer by name will also be able to do so.

Hence, it is still a feature flaw that this option is not available to users.
