Random images not displaying in IE8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Mongoose on XP SP2 32bit with IE8
2. Some random .png images display as red X
3. Tried other port numbers and the images were displayed but then others would 
quit showing.  

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Have tried both 3.7 and 4.1 of mongoose with XP SP2 32bit with IE8

Please provide any additional information below.
Works fine with Windows 7 and IE 9, 10, and 11.  Tried to clear Cache and 
cookies in IE but no luck.
