- Repeatable fields need a clear definition of scope
- "Object" fields (post_title, post_content, user_email, etc) need better definition in the code, currently registered to the form(s) for that object type, they may need to be registered separate from that
- Are there areas the REST API can make use of our definitions?
- What can we do for WP_Fields_API_Field to tell it what data type the field is, apart from control (or inherited somewhat for a default data type from the current control) -- maybe following what the REST API has done there?
Had a discussion with @ericandrewlewis and we began working on a refresh of the Fields API specifications. There were some actionable things I mentioned while talking to him, I'm adding them here so I don't lose track of them.
