You need to make your clone like the old Twitter in this picture and get it up and running for people to use. People are looking for a good Twitter alternative because Twitter has gone down hill. They censor everything now and shadowban people. I've done a little research and people seem to want features like Twitter removed. People want to use gifs for avatars and they want to be able to upload an image to use as their background just like in this example picture. I would even give it a name like Tweetter, it's close to Twitter and it would attract a lot of people to it. If you can create a good Twitter replace I will promote it. twitterclone

@Snarkly That's some really good suggestion. Definitely noted and would work on it to bring about these changes. I have a few thoughts on your suggestion. Though these are really cool features I don't think launching a product with the same idea would attract people. Sure it might attract a few folks initially but look at the scale of Twitter. I really appreciate you offering to promote but I created this project for a purely learning purpose. 👍 for your suggestion.

I think it would attract a great deal of people. I took this screenshot for you to look at. On the left side are people who really want their backgrounds back and on the right are people who want the gif avatars back. I only took a screenshot of these people but there were thousands of more people who want those features back. It would've took me weeks to screenshot everybody. Someone did create an alternative called Gab but no one likes it and from what I've gathered from the comments it's because it also doesn't have these features either. Everybody is ready to leave Twitter but they don't have a good alternative to go to. I hope you consider making a Twitter alternative and thank you for reading my comments. oldtwitter2
