@gregorycrane: I'm still due to give @pletcher some feedback, but we now have "review app" set up for the ROI work:
Merged in https://github.com/scaife-viewer/beyond-translation-site/pull/159 in hopes of fixing the deployment failure; a GitHub Actions deploy will follow if we still hit the error.

Updates HMT data as of the hmt-2020h release
294v-310r
)hmt-2020h
will require updates to the extraction workflow (e.g. https://github.com/scaife-viewer/hmt-cite-atlas/pull/15)Updates
scaife-viewer-atlas
to expose ImageROI via GraphQL (scaife-viewer/backend#52) and to track the URN on scholia as they are ingested (scaife-viewer/backend#54)We've added a new ingestion pipeline to Beyond Translation,
stub_scholia_roi_text_annotations
that linksImageROI
instances toTextAnnotation
instances backing the scholia.scaife-viewer-atlas
; we've deferred them in the interest of landing the improved functionality. With those data and code changes on the backend in place, we're also introducting several changes to the reading environment:
reader-image-mode
@scaife-viewer/reader-image-mode was updated to draw bounding boxes for the text and scholion in the Venetus A using a new "highlight" mode
When clicking a text part reference, the regions of interest related to a) the text and b) related scholion are highlighted:
This also triggers a highlight of scholion in the Scholia widget:
widget-scholia
@scaife-viewer/widget-scholia
was updated to display scholion without alemma
attributeClicking a scholion entry in the widget will highlight the regions of interest in "Folio Images mode"
The user can show / hide a legend mapping the colors to each kind of scholia
Hovering over the badge next to an individual scholion to see the kind label:
