question: source of LSJ in BT #115

I was wondering what the repository data source is for LSJ9 in BT?

Hi @lcerrato, it is PerseusDL/lexica.

Repo "ingestion" for Beyond Translation is in a half-finished state; I did a checkout of that XML in April of 2022, but it looks like there have been edits made since then.

Would you like me to update Beyond Translation with the latest in that repo? I can use that as an opportunity to improve the ingestion process.

Thanks. @jacobwegner I don't think there's anything substantive there that needs immediate updating, so that's up to you.

What prompted my question was an email from a research group about the source files, so I wanted to verify that there wasn't a BT fork of LSJ out there that was in better shape than the Perseus repo (or that I should be correcting instead).

Giuseppe Celano has a Unicode version of LSJ as well so I sometime end up doing a parallel PR over there.

Sounds good. Might be helpful when we do the next ingestion to include "repo metadata" for these dictionaries like we do for the CTS texts on scaife.perseus.org
