wide reader for two columns not activated by query string #49

If I go to:

https://scaife-viewer-frontend.netlify.app/explore-homer/urn:cts:greekLit:tlg0012.tlg001.perseus-grc2:1.12?mode=alignments

then the reader isn't wide for two columns like it is if I actually click on Alignments in Display Mode

It seems that the logic to change the reader width is tied to the actual clicking on the Display Mode and is bypassed by the query string approach.
